Fourteen years ago, two friends brought together their backgrounds, experience and shared belief in whole-person healing to create something special in Sussex County, New Jersey.

The beginnings were humble. In June 2012, Linda Mitchell and Debra Hollinrake founded The Tree of Health Center with $500, a Buddha statue, a massage table, a desk – and a dream.

That dream was to create a place where people could be seen and supported as whole human beings – mind, body, emotions and spirit.

Over the years, The Tree of Health Center has grown into a collaborative healing community offering a variety of complementary approaches. While each practitioner brings different training, experience and gifts to the Center, they share a belief that healing is deeply personal and that there is no single path that is right for everyone.

People come to The Tree of Health Center for many reasons. Some are experiencing stress, anxiety, grief or the effects of difficult life experiences. Others are living with physical discomfort or longstanding patterns they want to understand and change. Still others are simply seeking greater peace, clarity, connection and well-being.

What has remained constant since those early days is the heart of the Center – meeting people where they are, listening to what they need, and supporting their individual journey toward greater balance and wholeness.

The Tree of Health Center has never been about a corporate model of care. It was created to be personal, collaborative and human – a place where healing, growth and transformation can unfold in their own time and in their own way.
