unified wellness program:
Herb of the Week.
“Herbalism was the grounding of flower power. Nature woke us up.” ~ David Hoffmann
What you will learn from this class:
This is a beginner’s course that includes an in depth look at 50 most commonly used herbs. By the end of the end of this course you will have a better understanding of herbs and get a sense of how to use herbs, whether it be for your own wellness, on your way to starting your own clinic, or perhaps your very own apothecary.
What is Herbal Medicine?
Herbal medicine differs from that of traditional medicine in the sense that it treats each-individual’s symptoms, rather than the illness itself. Typically, most modern drugs were originally extracted from plant sources, and now are made into synthetic form.
Conventional medicine extracts only the active ingredient, whereas herbal medicine uses the whole plant. Herbal Clinicians like myself believe that the combination of active constituents within each plant work synergistically for whole body wellness.

"Plant medicine does not just improve symptoms; it approaches healing the whole body." ~ Karen Rose
My journey began as a young adult when I was diagnosed with a chronic condition. This prompted a spiritual journey that led me back to nature and holistic alternatives, such as Herbal Medicine. I have since graduated from Maryland University with a Masters in Clinical Herbal Medicine. I have also opened an online Apothecary and Herbal Clinic. My healing journey has taught me that chronic illness can be treated in a variety of ways, and can often integrate multiple modalities. As a Clinician my goal is to use the power of herbs as medicine, as well as integrate lifestyle and nutritional recommendations for whole body wellness. My passion is to educate and spread knowledge about the healing power of herbs.
