Pediatric craniosacral therapy.
Pediatric CST utilizes simple and effective therapeutic techniques to help normalize the child’s structure, balance the nervous system, and resolve traumatic issues of the birth and childhood experience. Dr. William Sutherland, the founder of Cranial Osteopathy, had a favorite saying. what the session will consist of:
A Pediatric CranioSacral Therapy session begins with a consultation and typically lasts an hour. It is preferable both parents attend each session. It is common for infants to nurse during the session and the practitioner will make necessary accommodations available. The number of sessions recommended depends on the needs and responsiveness of the child. Infants & children often experience a deep state of calm and may fall asleep. Parents often report their infant/child appears more relaxed and peaceful for days after the session, with a cumulative effect over a number of sessions.
